Got Purp!!

My favorite color is purple, so I was very excited to find out that Angel Dessous has a group gift in purple for the mere cost of 1L!  It includes the hair band, sarong and bag. The bathing suit itself comes in two layers.  I'd also like to mention that every Wednesday the store has a "blackbox" item set out, which is on sale for 69L, and contains a surprise item.  It's definitely worth checking out!

Although I usually don't care for unnatural colors of hair, I just fell in love with the new "Trio" colors pack from Magika, which happens to include one with purple, black and green shades. They have also created an additional hair with a "Duos" Pack, which is very nice also.

I thought that my eyes from Poetic Colors which have purple and blue would be the perfect match for this outfit.  Poetic Colors has a great variety of very interesting, uniquely colored eyes!  If you visit there, make sure you look around, as there are two stores, one of them full of discounted eyes.

Now, get out there and get you some "Purp" and make SL a more beautiful place!!

Very Nice, Endeed!

It's bike week in Daytona, and I attended.  I had a blast and was inspired to finally go get the motorcycle I have been wanting for some time in SL.  I did some shopping around and discovered "Endeed".  They had the best looking bike, with the cutest poses, and the most options out of the ones I looked at on the Marketplace.  I headed over to their sim and took the Alpha for a spin.  The sim had a really nice course to ride on, with some nice scenery too!

I had a blast playing with all the options once I got the bike home to Dreamy Daze.  It comes with two license plates, the one shown below and one that just has "Second Life" on it, and you can add your own textures to all the parts!  They have a few custom paint jobs for additional purchase and are supposed to come out with more.  I love the "parked" poses shown below!

Included in the box was a cigarette which has options to hold in your hand or mouth, and also to blow the smoke out of your mouth or nose!  There was also a tee shirt which I have not tried on yet.

It just so happens that Gothicatz came out with a blue jean graffiti outfit, which I what I am wearing in the pictures.  How perfect was that??

Interior Addictions

A few weeks ago, Laylamoure Latte and I went on a search for houseboats, as we have decided to make half our sim a neighborhood on water.  Our hunt ended at Interior Addictions & Second Architecture.  I was impressed when I teleported into what seemed like a Mississippi River bayou.  I attempted to catch the ambience of the entire place, but it was tough to do in just one picture!

The store that houses the furniture is really cute, with an ice cream stand and a few poses outside:

There were three houseboats there....

And, since we couldn't decide, we got them all!!  We truly have our own little "Waterworld" now on our sim...soon to be blogged!

Me & My Shadow

Today I went to the Festival of Sin, and in my wanderings I happened upon a pose by Lisp that was, of course, not for sale!  So, being the easily distracted girl I am, I transported on over to Lisp to find that pose I wanted. I found it and a few more  items too....the "Skylark Bench Beach" in the pic above being one of them.  And no, that is NOT a typo...it is a Bench Beach...however, the beach is NOT included!  The Gone Fishing sign is though, along with the oar that props up against the end of the bench.  The bench has several singles poses, as well as some couples, and can seat 2 avatars at a time.  It even gives a newspaper for the reading pose, entitled "Second Lisp".  How cute!! 

I wanted to play around with shadows a bit, and this is the results.  This pic was taken with my windlight settings set to AnaLu Studio9.  I usually prefer Studio7, but noticed that the shadows really pop with this one.  So there ya go...me and my shadow :-)  Btw...I still need to go back to the Festival of Sin!

I am so excited that Mochi Milena did a special Alyx skin for Valentine's day!!!  It's only one tone (honey) and one make up (Candy Hearts), but it's also only 99L at the Pink Fuel main store!  This little sample just makes me want MORE!!
